Air Quality Monitoring (AQI)

PRECISE AIR QUALITY MONITORING

Ambient air monitoring is the systematic, long-term assessment of pollutant levels by measuring the quantity and types of certain pollutants in the surroundings (building/home/office). Air Quality Monitoring is used to:
1. Judge compliance with and/or progress towards meeting ambient air quality standards (Green building Certifications).
2. To activate emergency control procedures that prevent or alleviate air pollution episodes.
3. To observe air quality trends throughout the premise and provide insight on corrective measures.

AIR QUALITY SENSORS

Tanos uses top-of-the-line, commercial-grade Air Quality Sensors to constantly monitor the air quality of a premise (building lobbies, office spaces, homes). We measure the following parameters - Temperature, Humidity, Carbon Dioxide, PM 2.5, PM 10, Total Volatile Organic Compounds. Monitoring of these parameters is vital to maintain healthy air quality in a building premise. These parameters are prescribed by IGBC (Indian Green Building Council) as important parameters to monitor over a prolonged period.

SENSOR DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS

Tanos, a complete cloud-based system, stores all sensor data in the cloud (Amazon Web Services) and makes the data and analysis available to users through a cloud-based interface. Tanos can also integrate smaller local displays (HMIs) with the system to show Air Quality data locally. Tanos can generate alerts on the premise (hooters, flashers) and through the cloud (Email, Telegram messages) if the Air Quality of the building/ premise falls below a certain pre-determined threshold.

AIR QUALITY CORRECTION IMPROVEMENT

Tanos can integrate with TFA (Treated Fresh Air) systems and automate its operations based on the Air Quality parameters of the premise. For example, if Tanos detects a rise in PM 2.5 levels in the building, it can automatically start the TFA systems to improve air quality. Tanos can also schedule the TFA systems to run at regular intervals (without any manual intervention). Tanos can also monitor the status of the TFA systems and generate alerts in case of any abnormality (unclean filters, system issues, etc.).
