Tanos-in-a-box

Tanos-in-a-box is a unique PLC+IOT concept tailor-made for remote equipment and environment without a steady network connection. The Tanos box uses a M2M (machine-to-machine) Sim Card to communicate with our servers on the cloud and relay important information about devices on the field. The Tanos system can maintain a steady stream of information on a low-bandwidth connection and also relay commands to the field devices. The Tanos box houses a powerful industrial-grade PLC by Beckhoff. The PLC can communicate with field devices on various communication protocols. Tanos-in-a-box, with its internet-ready setup, comes in very handy in two situations: Remote field equipment (e.g. Diesel Generators etc) which do not have internet/network connectivity. Environments where using the existing network infrastructure is not feasible (security, compliance), etc.
